Hi Everyone,
It’s hard to believe that it’s time to start thinking about GearUp4CF 2012 again! Just seven months ago (yesterday, to be exact), I completed 1,200km of cycling through the Rockies, and one of the greatest experiences of my life. With your help, I was able to raise $8,500, and as a group, we raised over $160,00!!!
It is with great regret that I am unable to ride the 2012 version of this amazing event. As many of you know, I will be getting married within a week of the ride, we have purchased a new home, and I am about to start a new career path. With all of these changes and events taking place, I have decided to pass on the opportunity this year, but WILL be back for 2013!!
With that said, I strongly urge you to continue supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada, GearUp4CF, and my riding mates. We are making huge gains in CF research, and are so much closer to finding a cure. Please support my fellow riders and help them surpass their fundraising goals, just as you helped me surpass mine.
